TBTG Foundation Scholarship
“Children are the world’s most important people.”
It’s a tenet of the work the Highlights Foundation does, and its why Dwight and Renée Smith are such fervent supporters of this organization and its community of storytellers. Dwight even has the quote in his office, to remind him of the purpose of his family’s philanthropic work.
Thanks to generous support from Dwight and Renée Smith through their TBTG (“Thanks Be To God”) Foundation, this scholarship will provide full tuition for a writer or illustrator for an online or in-person program. The recipient should be steadfast in their passion to inspire children and future generations through story.
Dwight and Renée received the 2023 Harrison M. Sayre Award for community impact from The Columbus Foundation. Dwight is an instrumental member of the board of trustees of the Highlights Foundation.
