Asian & Asian American Storyteller Scholarship
This scholarship provides funds to amplify the diversity of the Asian American, East Asian, Southeast Asian, and Southwest Asian communities in children’s books.

The Highlights Foundation thanks the Asian American Voices Collective, stewarded by Debbi Michiko Florence and Grace Lin, for its sponsorship of the Asian American Voices Cabin on our campus. It funds this scholarship for three years. The Collective’s support guarantees at least one Asian & Asian American Storyteller Scholarship will be awarded in 2024, 2025, and 2026. Additional scholarships may be awarded as funds become available.
